Try this old household trick if an accident occurs and the diaper area becomes very red.

Boiled Water Cloths – for red baby bottoms:

🤍 All you need is an old, used cotton sheet, cloth diaper, or similar.

🤍 Cut it into smaller pieces, e.g., 5 x 5 cm.

🤍 Boil some water and pour it over your small clothes.

🤍 Store the clothes in a clean container and let them cool down before use.

At each diaper change, clean the skin and place a moistened, but not wet, piece of ‘boiled water cloth’ on the red areas. Change the ‘boiled water cloth’ at each diaper change. ⁠ The idea with the ‘boiled water cloth’ is that the fabric absorbs the acidity from urine and feces away from the skin – and a moist cloth absorbs better than a dry one
